Who are we?
Ulu Pandan Toastmasters Club is a Toastmasters club in the west of Singapore.
We are a group of driven individuals dedicated to improve our public speaking, communication skills and leadership capabilities. Behind the laughter - filled and light - hearted meetings, we also forge good friendships that last a lifetime.
You are welcome to join our chapter meetings and have educational, entertaining evenings with us!
Our history
Ulu Pandan Toastmasters Club was established in 2002. Fifteen (15) out of these 18 years, the club has achieved Distinguished Club, Select Distinguished Club, and President's Distinguished Club awards.

Why I joined TM...
Attracted to my lecturer’s polished speaking skills, he exuded a certain confidence, charm and charisma. Later to find out he was a toastmaster too, when I met him at one of the toastmaster events.
Why I stay...
In addition to the public speaking skills, I learnt how to be a good leader when I became the club president into my second year of joining. I was not prepared however tm provided me the platform and tools to prepare myself for the challenges ahead. It boosted my confidence and I was even more determined to sail through the storms when the club was faced with a succession issue on the same year.
Why I will continue to stay...
I have stayed with the club since its foundation year, ie. 2002. It’s been a good 18 years. As I am staying very near to the club venue, one of our club advisors would often teased that if the club were to collapse, I shall be the nearest one to rush there to hold tight to the pillars.
I believe our club has become so established today with the current dedicated exco leaders and committed members. The club may at times stumble caused by the unanticipated hurdles, but it will pick up and move ahead speedily and steadily. This is definitely the club where I belong and I strongly believe I will continue to learn and grow to become the confident, charming and charismatic speaker I endeavored to be.
